My love,
When I think back to 2010, to those few weeks before your birthday when we met at Northlink Bellville campus, I still think about the warmth I felt when we connected. There was something about you that felt different from the very beginning. I couldn't have known every twist and turn life had waiting for us, but I knew in my heart that you were the woman I wanted to marry.
Nine years later, I had the privilege of marrying my best friend and the woman of my dreams. And now, sixteen years since that first meeting and seven years into our marriage, I am still grateful that life brought me to you.
Thank you for being my partner, my best friend, and the person with whom I get to share this life. Thank you for the memories we've made, for the love we've grown, and for all the ordinary moments that become special simply because they're ours. Our journey has never been about one perfect day — it's about all the days, all the changes, all the laughter, and continuing to stand beside each other through it all.
If I could go back to that day at Northlink and tell the younger version of me one thing, it would be this: hold on to her. One day, you'll marry her — and you'll still be falling in love with her years later.
Happy anniversary, my beautiful wife. Sixteen years of us, seven years as husband and wife, and so much life still ahead. If I had to choose all over again, I'd still choose you.
Forever and always yours, Tyron ♡
